The tempestuous love story between Fernando, an older man who has recently returned to his crime-ridden drug capitol hometown of Medellin, Colombia and the gun-happy 16-year-old assassin Alexis, who murders all too easily. When Alexis himself is fatally gunned down, grief-stricken Fernando hunts for his young lover’s killer in the Medellin slums, but instead encounters Wilmar, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Alexis.
The story runs in the 1940s Mexico City. A schoolboy (Carlos) falls in love with his best friend’s mother (Mariana). Carlos is impressed because this family is not like the ordinary mexican families of the time, because they have many expensive American things, although they are not rich. The drama begins when Carlos gets out of school to go to declare his love to Mariana, and is discovered by his teachers.

Little Oddemann uses every means available to find Jesus, including his slingshot. The film takes us to Norway in the late 30’s, where we meet a series of burlesque and humorous characters, whose antics convince Oddemann that growing up may be a bad idea. Yet Oddemann finds there are certain rewards to being grown-up, such as partying and chasing women, that merit closer examination. The film is based on a book of childhood reminiscences by beloved Norwegian poet and Jazz lyricist Odd Børretzen.

When Genevieve and Adrian discover they have been seduced by the same man, their friendship with one another as well as their relationships with Max come under question. As Max continues to promise them his affections, the three attempt to let go of their ideals and form a triangle. But as Genevieve and Adrian attempt to share their prize in a ‘ménage à trois,’ the foundation of their friendship begins to crumble all together.
